At Ras Kiroko we don’t have mains electricity but The Bean is connected to a generator and also has an inverter and battery bank which provides electricity to the fridge and lights for about 15 hours per day! Each bedroom has seperate 12 volt fans that operate 24 hours.

We do not have any mosquitoes and we have our own borehole. Our mineral water is pure and clean. You can drink it out of the tap! No need to boil or filter!!!

The house has a waist high fence surrounding it. Security it’s NOT a problem (4 fierce Masaai and 2 big dogs). We, the owners, live next door but out of sight and hearing.

The Bean is serviced by one or two of our staff who will come in the morning to make your beds, clean the house for you and wash dishes etc
